Fees
As straightforward as it may seem, the number of pages a Web site contains and even the amount of memory on a site's or application's system are metrics that can be misleading when trying to determine the size of the site for accessibility purposes and testing. Therefore, if you come through a WAC, the WAC will use its expertise to determine the size of your site or application.
If you come directly to the NFB, we will determine the size of your application or site after you have completed the initial assessment (which will help us make the determination). Estimated prices are listed below.

Definition of Certification Levels
Silver
- Top 100 URL’s are completely accessible--all content is compliant with WCAG priority one and two or NFB NVA standards.
Gold
- Top 100 URL’s are completely accessible--all content and all Web content controlled by organization are compliant.
- Twenty (20) most frequently accessed documents (MS Office/PDF) and resources (Flash/Video/Audio) (from analytics report) are compliant.
Platinum
- All Web content, documents (PDF), and resources are completely compliant
- The organization commits to independent audits and continuous monitoring
- Site owner maintains appropriate control over aggregated content (all content presented on its Web site, even if controlled and contributed by someone outside the organization)
General Notes:
- Site owner must show progress in the year following initial certification towards advancing to the next level.
- Sites that have achieved Platinum status will be promoted and showcased by NFB in various forums and functions throughout the year.
