NPR Interviews NFB on Quiet Car Concerns

Dr. Fredric K. Schroeder is First Vice President of the National Federation of the Blind, President of our Virginia affiliate, and an expert on cane travel.  He has been interviewed on the popular National Public Radio program All Things Considered.  Dr. Schroeder explained our concerns about new, quiet hybrid and electric vehicles.  The piece includes a comparison of what a conventional automobile sounds like versus a Toyota Prius.  You can listen to the audio here.
