"We make a living by what we get,
we make a life by what we give."
- Sir Winston Churchill
Mentors are critical to the success of many blind adults, both personally and professionally. Mentors provide encouragement, while challenging these individuals to seek their own solutions in order to make their dreams a reality.
New! This is an excellent opportunity for you to be creative. Have fun with your mentee doing some of these activities.
By participating as a mentor in our program, you will have the opportunity to:
"I may have learned more than my mentee. We did some activities that I never thought I could do. I realized that if I expected my mentee to do certain things, I had to step outside of my comfort zone and do the same thing."
- Darrell, Nebraska mentor
Coming Soon! View pictures and video of recent mentoring activities in Louisiana and Nebraska.
