The “Dare to Be Remarkable” residential rehabilitation conference was held
at the National Center for the Blind from Wednesday, December 5, to Friday,
December 7, 2007. Over one hundred and fifty professionals gathered to discuss
a wide range of issues involved in operating residential rehabilitation centers
for the blind, but the conference was not all work. Luncheons and a reception
were also part of the program.
